Representative Netball

Every year, Manningham Netball provides all members of the Association with the opportunity to try out for a position in one of the Association’s Representative Squads.

Representative squads are made up of the best and most talented players from any club or team within the Association.

These players are selected to represent the Association in competitions and tournaments throughout the year. We currently have 17 Representative Teams competing in 11/U through to Open age groups.

Manningham Netball Representative Team 2027 Selections

Registrations are now open to trial for our 2027 Representative Teams. To qualify for our 2027 teams there is NO NEED to be registered with one of our domestic clubs and compete in our Saturday competition for the Under 15 to Open age groups.

SCREENING DATE: 4th October 2026
Under 11, Under 13 & Under 15 ONLY

A screening day will be conducted in the lead up to our trials for all players WHO DID NOT PLAY in the Manningham Rep Program in 2026. The screening day will be compulsory. Following the screening day you will be notified if you have qualified for our selection trials in the following week.

Trial Fee
A trial fee of $13.00 will apply and is payable upon registration.

Post Trials
As per the Guidelines, players will be notified of team offers via email by no later than Monday 26th October 2026 (this date is subject to change).

Acceptance of offer
Acceptance of offers will need to be made shortly after offers have been made. The acceptance will also involve a compulsory deposit to confirm your acceptance. Late acceptance may result in positions being forfeited.

Training and Competition

Our 11/U Teams train every Monday night and play in approximately 8 tournaments throughout the year. These tournaments are held on a Sunday at various locations, e.g. Lilydale, Waverley, Whitehorse and Doncaster.
Our 13/U and 15/U Teams train every Monday night and play Thursday nights at Waverley. There are two seasons per year. In addition, these teams will participate in approximately 5 tournaments throughout the year, which are held on a Sunday.
Our 17/U Teams train every Sunday (late afternoon/early evening) and play Wednesday nights at Waverley. There are two seasons per year.
Our 19/U Teams train every Sunday (late afternoon/early evening) and play Friday nights at Waverley.
Our Open Teams train every Sunday (late afternoon/early evening). Our Open Teams play on Tuesday nights at the State Netball Centre in Parkville. There are two seasons per year.

Eligibility

Under 11 & Under 13
Successful Under 11 and Under 13 applicants will need to register to a Manningham domestic team and participate in our Saturday Club competition. An exemption will apply for existing 2026 Under 11 and Under 13 players. You do not need to be a current member of Manningham Netball Association to participate in our trials.

Under 15
Under 15 applicants to our representative program will NOT NEED to be registered with one of our domestic clubs or compete in our Saturday competition. This rule is subject to change for future years at the discretion of the Association management committee. Representative players who do not participate in our domestic competition will be charged an extra $390 fee in addition to the base Rep fees. (This is subject to change). The extra fee will go directly towards developing the growth of our Saturday domestic competition.

Under 17 to Open
Successful applicants in these age groups have no requirement to play in our domestic competition and will not be subject to extra fees.
