Head Coach – Representative Program

Location: Manningham Netball courts and competition venues – Parkville & Waverley Night Netball
Reports to: Association President and Executive Committee
Employment: Part Time (approx. 4-8 hours training per week, plus match days and selected Sunday tournaments)
Current Training Days:  Sunday & Monday afternoon/evening

The Role:


Manningham Netball is looking for an inspiring and driven Head Coach to lead our Representative Program into 2026/2027. If you are passionate about player development, building strong team culture, and driving competitive excellence, we want to hear from you.

  • Lead and shape Manningham’s representative netball program
  • Mentor coaches and develop athletes across the pathway

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Lead the development and implementation of a consistent Manningham game style and coaching approach.
    • Select, develop and mentor coaches, providing leadership, support and ongoing professional development.
    • Oversee player development pathways, trials, team selection and progression across the program.
    • Attend weekly training sessions, game days and tournaments to support coaching and player development.
    • Lead match-day coaching, decision-making and performance analysis to drive continuous improvement.
    • Build a positive program culture based on strong team identity, respect, accountability and player wellbeing.
    • Work collaboratively with the Committee, providing regular updates and reports and supporting club events and activities.
    • Ensure all coaching and program activities align with Manningham Netball and Netball Victoria policies, procedures and Codes of Conduct.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years netball coaching experience
    • Strong tactical and development knowledge
    • Leadership and communication skills
    • At minimum hold a Development Coach Accreditation
    • First Aid (preferred) & current WWCC
    • Driver’s licence
    • 18+
